Look How Far We’ve Come

Folks, this is why I do online clinics and take phone calls and do webinars and keep posting on YouTube and Facebook (Dave says we’re on TikTok, too… so I don’t have TikTok, but we’re there too).

Got a message from Carole the other day that was so fun to watch. See, Carole’s been showing up to our webinars and training calls since her baby mule was born two years ago. Two years. That’s not somebody looking for a quick fix — that’s somebody who said, “I’m gonna learn how to do this right.”

And let me tell you, she did.

That baby mule of hers leads with ease on the Come-Along Rope. No fighting the rope halter, either. Just a mule that trusts the person on the other end of that rope because Carole put in the work from day one.

Isn’t that what we all want? A trusting relationship where we enjoy the mule or donkey and our mule / donkey enjoys us.

Carole Doesn’t Have a “Special Mule”

Now here’s what I want you to hear. Carole didn’t have some special mule. She didn’t have 30 years of experience. What she had was the willingness to learn that mules aren’t horses, and then she followed through. She showed up, she listened, she applied what she learned, and that baby mule never had to unlearn a bunch of wrong stuff that somebody else put on him.

That’s the whole game right there.

Carole put it best herself — she said her and that mule have “come a long way.” I see what you did there, Carole.

This is what’s possible when you start right, stay consistent, and treat your mule like a mule. Not a horse. Not a dog. A mule.
