The mule gets his shape and bone structure from the donkey. This makes the mule’s shape fundamentally different from the horse — and horse saddle fitting training will not work on the mule.
I see folks say, “I use a horse saddle and have no problems,” and that’s because the mule can take a lot before one day they finally say, “That’s it, I’ve had it, get off of me.”
