The Come-A-Long Rope is a triple strand, wax-coated rope that puts the power of the Come-A-Long Hitch in your hands.

IMPORTANT: If you have never worked with the Come-A-Long Rope, we strongly encourage you purchase the Ground Foundation Starting Kit, which includes an accompanying training video where Steve demonstrates HOW to get results with your new training tool.

Video is helpful. Videography is not great. There is not a good explanation/demonstration of how to put the come-a- long rope on the mule. At one point, Steve is making an adjustment and all that can be seen is the top of his hat and his back. Amazing progress with the one mule in the video based on description of problems owner was having before.

Very informative video. It has helped me better understand my mule and that problems can arise. Some of the video was a little fuzzy at times but that could of been an issue on my end. I have never owned a mule my Dad had several when I was a kid and never really understood the difference between them and horses but after watching them work with this problem mule the mule took to it quick and learns faster than a horse does.

  3. Melissa L Ka’akau-Delizo (verified owner)

Excellent! I rarely, if ever, give anything 5 stars, as we all can improve somewhere. Steve’s explanations are easy to understand and having the interaction with the mule right there, responding to the corrections and training brings it all together. Videography could be improved. Thanks Steve!

  4. Becky Harrison (verified owner)

Really great video to watch. A lot of detail and instruction.

  5. Ronald Sowers (verified owner)

I am a new mule owner, the video is very informative and helpful.

The audio is terrible. Consequently making the instructions practically impossible to understand. The only explanation of how to create the come along headstall is blocked by the back of the student so compounded with the lousy audio i cannot imagine how anyone could get any good out of this so called instructional dvd. If there is a possible minus rating I would certainly give it to this extremely poor video.

I ordered the DVD and it was taken out of my mailbox. Steve replaced it with the digital copy, and I have already tried a few techniques on my riding mule. She isn’t a big problem, but it’s nice to see different things to make her even better. Great video!
