John runs mules out in Arizona — trail rides, guest rides, the whole operation. When you’re putting guests on mules, you don’t get to have a bad day. The gear has to work, the mules have to be right, and everything in between has to hold up mile after mile.

He sent me some awesome pictures showing his mules all tacked up and ready to go. Guests heading out on a ride.

Now this is real neat, folks. The T family did their Christmas card photo on their mules. And get this, they did it for Thanksgiving, too!

John isn’t just a customer. He’s part of the Queen Valley Mule Ranch family.

Here’s a shot of his hitching post during spring maintenance — tack laid out, saddles getting looked over before the season kicks in. That picture right there tells you everything about the kind of mule man John is. He takes care of his equipment because his equipment takes care of him.

Just real life with real mules.

Running My Saddles and Gear for 10+ Years

John mentioned he was following me before he ever became a customer. Watching, learning, figuring things out. And then at some point he made the jump and he’s been running my saddles and gear for over 10 years now.

He said, and I want to quote him here because he said it better than I could:

“Wouldn’t be where I am with our mules and gear without all you’ve done. Proud to be a long term customer . I have incredibly fond memories of all our interactions.”

Well, John, I’ll tell you what. That goes both ways.

John’s message to me with those pictures just reminds me of why I got into this into the first place. I wasn’t planning on it, but then I realized that things I was doing… they were really working… and when other folks did what I was doing, it worked for them, too.

I am not here to sell. I am not here to dictate. I want to help ya and I appreciate John share with me that I was able to help him get somewhere with his mules.

He is putting real miles on his animals, serving guests, doing rides even over the holidays, and the gear is holding up for a decade plus.

That’s living in blessing.

I don’t take that lightly.

These saddles aren’t built to sit pretty in a tack room. They’re built to work. Day in, day out, season after season. And John’s pictures and 15 years of miles prove it.
