Avoided the Slaughter Truck

Well, I walked my mule home tonight about a mile. He was such a good boy. We had some idiots trying to pass my safe car. However, he stopped and looked as the vehicles passed.

One minute he was keeping up with my pace. Then he started to walk slower. When we reached my property he let out the biggest Holler. My kids all watched he walk down the drive to the barn. He walked right into his stall, settled in.

When I brought my kids in he just watched. My gelding is beside him. They touched noses and that was it. I’m in awe.

Thank you again for all your help or this boy would have been on the slaughter truck again.
