I think this surcingle is an excellent product – very well constructed with quality materials. So far I’ve used it latigoes, Trail cinch, Beta Breast collar, Beta Britchen, and the rope halter. My mule is a Belgium draft (pretty big gelding 16-17 hands, 1600-1700 pounds). I rescued SamMule about a year ago, but since I didn’t have any gear for a draft animal, I hadn’t done much with him. Over the last couple of months, I started with the Come Along Rope/Halter/DVD package and have been adding a little gear every month or so as we progress. Between Steve’s videos and gear SamMule and I are building a foundation that is working great – such good progress, slow and steady, I’m really excited about it. SamMule is my first mule, our little journey has been great so far, I think mostly because I’m getting quality advice and quality tack.

Great gear and must have for foundation work and more advance work and training. It has helped my donkey moves more collected and respect the halter. We still have a way to go, so this gear will get a lot of use. It is great quality and Queen Valley Mule ranch is excellent with advice and after-sale service. I recommend it.

The surcingle is well made. The quantity of rings gives me many options for use. It came with the nylon cinch straps. I plan to use it on my yearling to keep the ground work training progressing.
